40 Years in the Desert
Gerard Figurelli, a member of St. Bart’s Pastoral Council, recently returned to the Catholic Church after decades as an evangelical. He will share his journey back to the Church and the role of apologetics.
Gerard was baptized as an infant and confirmed in 1983 but soon drifted from thte Church. In 1989, after a conversion experience at Baptist church, he left the Church, graduated from an evangelical seminary, and became the pastor of two churches in Sugar Land. In 2023, after overcoming personal obstacles and doctrinal objections, he "returned to Rome"
