Lectors
Lectors are ministers who proclaim the readings from Sacred Scripture at Mass and other liturgical services.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion are commissioned by the Bishop to distribute the Eucharist at Mass or to bring the Eucharist to those confined to hospitals or their home.
Ushers
Ushers are ministers who welcome parishioners to Mass, take up the collection and see to the good order of liturgy.
Hospitality Greeters
Hospitality greeters welcome and greet those who enter the church. These ministers help newcomers by providing them with welcoming materials and answering any questions they may have.
Altar Servers
Altar servers assist at the altar during Mass. Boys and girls, ages 10-years or older are eligible for this ministry.
Music Ministry
Using their musical gifts, parishioners of all ages lead the assembly in sung prayer in one of our many choirs:
> Voices of Praise -- 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass
> New Life Choir - 10:45 a.m. Sunday Mass
> Coro Pregoneros Del Amor - 12:30 p.m. Spanish Mass
> Youth Band -- 5:00 p.m. Sunday Youth Mass
> Children's Choir (grades 2-5) -- one Sunday Mass per month,
plus Christmas Eve Children's Mass and Easter morning Mass
> Saturday Singers -- one Saturday evening Mass per month
> Instrumentalists accompany the choirs (high school age and up)
Children's Liturgy of the Word
Children's Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for children to hear God's word at their level and explore its meaning in their lives. Volunteers lead the children in discussion and reflection of the Sunday scripture during the 9, 10:45 and 12:30 Masses.
Care of Altar Linen
The diligent care of altar linens is a necessity. Dedicated volunteers launder the cloths used in our liturgy and care for the albs used by our altar servers.
