URGENT REQUEST FOR ACTION BY PARISHIONERS
THE 40 CHURCHES PROJECT
SIGN UP This Weekend, June 26th& 27th:
Meet a member of the Respect Life Committee in the back of the church and sign up to participate with them, praying in front of Planned Parenthood’s new abortion clinic. You will make a big impact on changing the minds of those considering an abortion.
St. Bartholomew Church will join the Houston Coalition for Life in
Members of other churches will fill in days and you will find prayerful people on the sidewalk daily, appealing to Our Lord to save the babies. We can do this, but your help is needed.St Bartholomew volunteers will stand and pray on the third Friday of every other month, beginning on July 16th. (The next St. Bartholomew date is September 17th) If you wish you may volunteer for any shift or for the full day. There will be car pools (or caravans) to the site from St. Bart’s. It takes approximately 45 minutes to drive to the Planned Parenthood, at 4600 Gulf Freeway.
NEXT REGISTRATION will be after all Masses in two weeks on July 10th and 11th

Meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month, in the Conference Room at 6:30pm.
Please come join us in saying the rosary and future event planning. Make sure to pick up your copy of the Respect Life News in the Narthex. If you have a Respect Life issue that you feel needs to be heard and would like to see it in the news page please let us know.
If you would like to help us in promoting Respect Life by volunteering with our group call us. If you would like to sponsor our group with a monthly donation or a one-time gift to help us purchase literature needed to teach our community about pro-life issues and to teach our young how to live by pro-life teachings. Please send your donation to the office or simply put it in the collection plate (just make sure to note on the memo “For St. Bart’s Respect Life Group”).
